Our Guarantee

Here at AmblerTech we take pride in our work and our commitment to the end user. All of our hard drives are backed by manufacturer warrantees of one year minimum in addition to AmblerTech's limited warranty. We guarantee that our upgrade kits will function when installed properly according to our accompanied instructions. If you experience drive failure within 30 days of purchase, return your defective drive and we will be replace it free of charge (buyer pays shipping). If you are in any way unhappy with your upgrade drive you may return your purchase for a refund less a 20% restocking fee.

We guarantee that our drives will function with the supplied version of TiVo software. We cannot control future modifications to the TiVo OS, and therefore cannot guarantee full functionality with future changes to the TiVo OS. We will not be held liable if at any time TiVo suspends service to your unit or otherwise alters the functionality of your unit. Should this occur, we will work with you to resolve the problem, but we cannot guarantee success.

Expansion drive capacities are based on TiVo software version 3.0, but vary from drive to drive. In all likelihood your drive will exceed the quoted size.

Opening the case of your TiVo unit will invalidate your TiVo warranty. AmblerTech will not assume risk or liability for any damage to your TiVo unit or other audio/visual equipment. If you are uncomfortable with the prospect of installing a drive yourself, we offer services to upgrade your TiVo for you.
