Shipping electronic goods, especially those with hard drives, requires attention to packaging. Please follow these instructions for best results:

TiVo Shipping Instructions

If available, package your TiVo in its original box with the included foam inserts. Otherwise, wrap your TiVo with 10 layers of bubble wrap per side to ensure adequate padding. You do not need to include any cabling, remotes, or other accessories. Do not use newspaper or foam peanuts which may shift during shipping. Always use a sturdy cardboard box, insure your package, and purchase tracking for your shipment.

Please also include a picture of your TiVo's system information screen. This is necessary to ensure that the unit is functional prior to shipping. Also include a printout of your PayPal reciept for faster internal routing.

Hard Drive Shipping Instructions

If you wish to send us your hard drive(s) rather than your entire TiVo, please remove them carefully and avoid any jarring movements. Place the drive(s) in anti-static bags or clam-shell containers. Wrap the drive(s) liberally with bubble wrap or use 2" foam sheets on each side. If shipping more than one drive, ensure that adequate padding is placed between the drives. Please also include a printout of your PayPal reciept for faster internal routing.
